Gnine Innings is a competitive baseball game designed around both live head-to-head and asynchronous play. The game features multiple modes including real-time matchups, home run derby, and rotating daily challenges that introduce variety and replayability while keeping matches focused and accessible. Ongoing development is centered around expanding the competitive structure with seasons, leagues, and tournaments to support long-term progression and organized multiplayer play.
Gameplay
Gameplay is built on physics-driven interactions and responsive, comfortable swing controls that aim to feel both intuitive and grounded. Bat-ball contact, ball flight, and bounces are handled through realistic physics, while fielding is supported by layered AI logic that manages positioning, reactions, and decision-making. The game includes fully designed teams with custom rosters, jerseys, and logos, all created in-house.
