Backgammon is a digital adaptation of the classic board game, focused on accessibility, clarity, and competitive play. The game currently supports live head-to-head matches, with plans of developing an asynchronous turn mode. Design focus was placed on responsiveness and readability to ensure matches feel smooth and deliberate across sessions.
The mechanics were designed around ease of use and a tactile, authentic board-and-piece feel, with interactions that mirror the flow of a physical backgammon game. Boards and visual themes were designed in-house, featuring distinct styles that maintain legibility while giving each table a unique character. Together, these choices aim to balance traditional gameplay with a clean, modern presentation suited for both casual and competitive players.
