Gnarcadia's Air Hockey is a minimalist multiplayer game designed to explore real-time physics synchronization and low-overhead networking in a competitive setting. The 1v1 experience relies on deterministic physics and frequency-efficient netcode to maintain responsive, accurate collisions across clients.
The game also introduces direct integration with the Gnarcadia marketplace, allowing players to use purchased items in live matches for the first time on the platform. While intentionally simple in presentation, the project focuses on technical clarity, scalability, and moment-to-moment competitive feel.
The game includes marketplace-driven cosmetic items, such as tables, pucks, and stoppers that can be earned or purchased through the Gnarcadia Marketplace and used directly in live matches, with support for additional item types over time.
